11×17 Garden Shed/tornado shelter

11x17 Garden Shed/tornado shelter

probably the strongest garden shed around. We were asked to build one of those little garden sheds you see on the side of the road that come in on a truck and sit on some gravel or treated wood. That’s not how we roll, so I built this customers shed the same way I would a 72×128 farm building.

Do you use a specific brand/style of timber frame PEB or your own details? How do you do your engineering?

To call that shed a tornado shelter is a little ridiculous, a small piece of debris thrown by a tornado would pierce through that sheet metal like nothing. Other than that, I love your video and you guys do a fantastic job when it comes to building!

I hope you do more of these videos! Really enjoyed it.

It seems like the posts and bottom girt are right on the slab. What keeps them from soaking up water?

What's a building like that size run cost wise? Could you add clerestory windows along the roofline almost like frank howarth's shop?
