The Future is Perennial Ground Cover

In this video I explain why we have been using weed mats and lots of wood chips, Our plan is to put appropriately selected ground cover to work for us building soil, reducing weeds and time to manage weeds, creating supportive microbial communities for the gardens while reducing soil erosion, water evaporation, and the need to add compost and mulch.
We have been propagating white clover, birds-foot trefoil, thyme, oregano, and chamomile. We have been growing several other perennial crops and have had some problems with the mint family and the crowding of our blueberry plants.
